il y a déjà eu des records de vitesse de 400, 450km/h avec une triumph, ce n'était même pas avec une turbine ! 
3 comme tricylindres !

Bonneville, 1992, 601 ran 256.264 during this meet after this picture was taken. (412,32km/h)
Jack WILSON built over 65 speed-record setting Triumphs
between 1955 and 1990, as well as countless winning road-race and dirt-track engines.
Le dernier record était à 450km/h mais le pilote est tombé et a failli se tuer, alors ils ont arrêté (de toute façons il fallait tout reconstruire !!)
